North County Auto Service - Excellent! My 2001 Lexus shimmied when braking and rear trunk panel lights did not work, which were previously fixed at dealer. Recieved a heads-up call about progress with steps to repair. The techs did exceptional job on an allround brake job, and beyond solving this issue, the car just seems to drive/ride better. Lighting problem solved with craft skill. by splicing/lengthening wires at fraying hinge point. Previous customer and will continue to be. And it was affordable.

I have a 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider with electrical problems. I have been hesitant taking the car to an electrical auto dealer and auto place service. I called several places and either they needed to schedule me on their time or were not very customer friendly, or started talking technical terms that I couldn't understand.I read Yelps 5 star rating, had a Mitsubishi auto parts recommend North County Auto Service and decided to take my car in. I spoke to the mechanic briefly and he explained in lay language what may be some of the possibilities. Mike called with the diagnostics and explained clearly what was wrong with the car.Windows, alarm, lights going on and off, all was fixed and at a very reasonable price.I am careful where I take my car to, and highly recommend their automotive expertise as well as their customer service.

I absolutely LOVE this place. As a single girl, I am a huge target for getting ripped off by mechanics. Well Mike and the Mechanics (laugh...you know you want to) are awesome. I have taken my Bug in a few times, and Mike is totally up front about what things will cost, what NEEDS to be done, what can wait, referrals for other stuff (tires), etc. I have zero fear that I am going to get ripped off here.Most recently I took it in for 60,000 service, I was creeping up on 70,000. I know, I am a bad girl. i was expecting to spend about $400. Mike gave me a ride home while they worked on it, picked me up when ready...and I spent $180. I highly recommend North County Auto Service!!!!

I have known the family that owns this shop for over 20 years and I can attest to the fact that if you want mechanics you can trust, North County Auto Service is the place to bring your vehicle.I thought I found someone where I lived, in San Diego, to trust with my truck but the mechanic told me not to put any more money into it because the engine was the problem and it would cost me $5,000.00 to fix but when I came to NCAS for a second opinion the cost was under $750.00. Now my truck purrs instead of rumbles. I will never go to another mechanic for any major work, ever. Thanks North County Auto Service!

When I need work done on my car this is where I bring it. I know they will make sure my car is in good shape and never rip me off like some other places do. It is great to be able to trust your mechanic.

Honest and inexpensive! I was told I needed new headgaskets at another shop. A friend referred me to Mike at North county auto service, who informed me that I actually just needed new hoses, a thermostat, and a flush... Overheating fixed! Their honesty saved me over $1200!
