I can honestly say I found my repair shop!! Mike and his team do a great job. They keep costs down, and best of all they are honest. If you need a repair on your vehicle I highly recommend coming in. They will treat you right!!!

I've been doing business at this shop for over 15 years with multiple vehicles and I always get outstanding service with both staff and vehicle repair or maintenance - The best feeling you can have is knowing there is someone you can trust!!!!

We have had 3 experiences with North County Auto and they have all been 5-star experiences. They are honest, timely and super kind and considerate. The first time we went in for an "intermittent" starting problem. They kept the vehicle for a week trying to duplicate the problem but with no luck. We decided to hope for the best and picked up the car...no charge. I wanted to pay a diagnostic fee, but they insisted. Of course, with that as our first experience, the next problem made North County Auto our first choice. Although short-handed, they replaced our fuel pump sooner than they estimated. Great service and they had the car cleaned at the car wash1 Today, my third visit, was equally great. They replaced the parts for our power window while I waited and read a book I had brought. We are so happy we have found a mechanic that we feel good about. I hope I will not see them again for awhile, but when the next problem arises, I know where to turn. Thank you Mike and Rex!

The men working at the shop like not only good mechanics but are GREAT human beings! Honest, fair, and kind.

Absolutely A-MA-ZING!!!! My Honda CR-V had been stolen and recovered with a destroyed ignition switch. After sitting up for several months and my poor attempt at hot wiring, it would not start. Rex helped me out at the counter and Josh did the work on the car. Runs great and they even cleaned it inside and out. These are my new go-to-guys!!!

If I could give North County 10 stars I would definitely do so! My daughter had her car towed here. We were told that they would do a diagnostic test and find out what the problem was. They gave us a very reasonable quote but unfortunately, the damage to the vehicle was more extensive than they thought. They did not charge us for the diagnostic test, labor or part that they ordered. They even had my daughter's vehicle towed to the Dodge dealer free of charge!!!!! Fortunately the problem was covered by the Dodge power train warranty. I tell everyone about what they did for us and everyone says "Wow!!" Rex and Mike were great! I would highly recommend them. We do not live anywhere close to Oceanside but would consider taking our cars there anyway.

If I could give TEN stars, I totally would give them TWENTY!!! Mike (the owner) and his dad Sandy provided the BEST customer service one could ever ask for from an auto repair shop. North County Auto Repair is LEGIT!!! My 2004 Nissan Xterra had been out of commission for about 2-3 months. It took me so long to get my car fix because the scmuck at EconoLube (my biggest mistake) quoted me $900+ for repairs on my transmission, amongst other things he was throwing at me. Now keep in mind, im a typical girl who doesn't know much about cars or maintains her vehicle. So after given that quote, I had to put off fixing my car and drove it down to the ground...that's when my car went kapoots!I perused through Yelp for an auto shop that had great reviews, and stumbled upon North County's 5-star rating. I called up the shop and Mike answered. I explained to him my car problem and he took my car in that morning (via tow truck). He gave me options of either riding with the tow guy, or having the tow guy drop off my car and he'd call me to confirm its arrival and inspection. I opted to just send the tow guy with my car.Later in the day, Mike calls me to follow up and he shares with me the concern. I'm thinking about that $900 quote from Econo Lube, but when Mike explains the issue were my belts and quoted me $500 plus, I was shocked and surprised that I had Mike jump right into the repairs....WHAT A RELIEF!!!My car was ready the next day! Not only did they fix my problem, but they also replaced my wipers (which were already very bad) and washed my car! They replaced the fluids and checked everything else in between. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICE!! I plan to continue business with them, and so should you!!!THANK YOU MIKE AND SANDY!!!

Mike and his team were polite, friendly and knowledgable. They diagnosed my car within a day and provided an estimate before moving forward with any repairs. They alerted me to another problem with my car, a wear item, and suggested replacement. They stayed a few minutes late to meet me. They worked within my budget and were helpful about advising me which repairs were necessary to the safety of the vehicle and which ones could wait another month. The repairs were affordable and came in close to or on estimate given. I would recommend them to a friend or neighbor and will take my car there again.
