N. County Auto Service is the place to take your vehicle if you are looking for an honest owner and good mechanics. I called every jeep service dealershi and many non jeep and FINALLY found this place. I was lucky enough to speak with Mike the owner and told him I've never had a tune up or brake job since I bought the jeep. I asked to have many things fixed and Mike said they would test them before replacing them and come to find d out what I wanted fixed didn't need to be fixed but my brakes and rotors were dangerously low. I could technically say he saved my life but, I'm thankful they find the problems that need to be fixed rather replace what I think needs to when what I thought was fine. Take your cars, trucks, jeeps here. Ask for Mike he's way cool and hea honest!

Last year, I got my brake pads and rotors changed at Pep Boys and they were horrible - squeaked the entire time I had them and after returning 3+ times, was told by their technicians nothing was wrong. In less than 20K miles, I already started to hear grinding, so I decided it was time to buy some better quality pads.Rex explained that Pep Boys uses after market brakes that didn't fit my 2010 Nissan Altima properly. He said he only recommends Posi Quiet brake pads because they last 30-40K miles, are silent, and come with a lifetime warranty! I brought my car in the next morning (Dec 23rd) and it went right in at 8am. He called me 30 minutes later with the full brake inspection report and his recommendation to only replace the pads because the rotors were in good shape.At 11am, only 3 hours after I dropped it off, my car was ready for pick up!I was not able to pick my car up until the afternoon so they had a section just outside their gate for it to be parked until I could come get it.All in all, fantastic and speedy service with friendly employees. I will definitely be returning to North County Auto Service for my future car-related needs (and next time I need to get my pads replaced with that warranty )

I've been taking my vehicles to North County Automotive for about most things that can go wrong with a car or truck. Prices are fair and the quality and service you get with Mike and Rex are great! a trade not practiced or found with many automotive establishments. My vehicles and I thank you! Rudy

Please forgive me for my delayed review!It's a long story, but suffice it to say that I had multiple bad attempts to get my car problem fixed and wasted money on someone else who didn't know what he was doing and who didn't take the time to diagnose properly before just guessing and fixing something that wasn't needed and not fixing the real problem so that I was stranded again. That person was going to charge me $600 for the second visit for what they were "sure " this time was the problem. I had a bad feeling so I brought it here instead and they spent a lot of time diagnosing first and it ended up only being a very minor problem that was only $35 to fix!! It was not the fuel pump - which is a major repair - it was simply the sensor in my key!! Thank you thank you thank you! I have told my friends!

I went through North County Auto Service to get my car fix and they were AMAZING!! Part of my engine broke and I went through them to get it handled! Luckily they had my previous engine under warranty so it was easy and cheap to replace! I had Rex help me with all my needs! I was able to get my car back in about a week, which all other places said it would be much longer! Now I have my car back and its running better than ever! They actually were able to give me a better engine than I had before! I am a stay at home mother so having a reliable car to transport my son and I is extremely important! I'm so glad I went through North County Auto Service and now I have nothing to worry about! I will definitely got back there if I have any future problems and will be recommending them to anyone who needs auto service!! Thank you guys for giving a mother peace of mind!!

I had used their services several months ago, largely due to reading reviews that talked about their honesty. They did good work on my necessary repair, and strongly recommended more work that they felt needed to be done, which I grudgingly agreed to (because of the reviews about their honesty, I figured they must be legit). I went to them again this week because the clamp on my lower radiator hose popped off, and even though a friend helped me put a new one back on, we thought the hose was still leaking. After I dropped it off, the guys at North County Auto Service looked at it, tested it for pressure, and found no leaks. They also refilled my radiator and coolant reservoir, both of which were virtually empty. When I returned to pick it up, they didn't charge me a dime! (AND they had vacuumed my car!)Their honest work and generous ethics have made a loyal customer out of me.

I recently took my 535i BMW here for brakes. The service was amazing. I brought my car in around 10am and was able to pick it up the next day with no hiccups and an unexpected car wash which was awesome! I travel for business and leave my car in airport parking a lot which can really make a nice car look rough. The staff were super friendly and communicative in regards to changes in pricing and time frame for completion. I will certainly be recommending this company to all my friends for domestic and foreign cars alike!
